March 2010

March was a big month. We celebrated Wyatt's 1st birthday. He got his own plasma car to ride around with his brothers. He started walking at 11 months...trust me, this kid is mobile in more ways than one.
The last snow of the season was a big one...I forgot what the grass looked like after the winter of 2009-2010. The kids totally enjoyed all the snow down to the last drop.

Luke took a football class at the community center. Most of my pictures are blurry ones of him running. It was a great way to keep him entertained while I ran around the suspended track above him with Wyatt in a stroller.
Then, we set off for our great Spring Break Adventure back east. One of our stops along the way was Kirtland, OH.

Our next destination was Washington, D.C. I have been their several times. However, this was my first visit to the National Archives...and it was by far my favorite stop on our trip. To see the Constitution in person was so moving!
(National Archives)
(Washington Monument)
(Standing by the Reflecting Pool in front of the Lincoln Memorial)
(View from the Lincoln Memorial)
(US Capitol)
(Space Shuttle at the Dulles Air & Space Smithsonian)
("Gum-Gum" at the Natural History Smithsonian)
(Actual Wright Brothers Glider in the Air & Space Smithsonian)
We were lucky enough to see family while we were there...
(Cousins Michael and Nicholas with Danielle before the early Easter Egg Hunt)
(Grandma & Grandpa and Maggie with the kids)
(Uncle Eric)
On the way home, we stopped in Philadelphia to see the Liberty Bell and to take a tour of Independence Hall. It was an awesome trip!
